I had a little snowboarding accident this week. Nothing terrible, but my lower lip got a bit mangled. I looked like I got into a fight. I’ve been telling people I got into a fight with a bear (“You think I look bad, you should see the bear!”) A couple of people actually believed the story at first. :)
Four days later, the swelling has gone down considerably and the bruising has faded – so now it mostly looks like I have a very chapped lip. I’ll spare you guys and refrain from posting any pictures of how I looked on Wednesday.
That’s my favorite Rilo Kiley song. The first time I heard it, it was live, and I thought the refrain was “bathrooms” instead of “bad news.” Trying to figure out what the song was, I searched the internet for “Rilo Kiley” “bathrooms” and came up with nothing.
