Kara threw a surprise party for Brian at their house to celebrate his 32nd birthday.

We spent a couple of days in Panajachel, on Lago de Atitlan. It was too hazy to get good views of the three volcanoes, but we had a fun day in a nature preserve hiking around and watching the spider monkeys (monos aranas). We also had a great lunch and afternoon in the gardens at the upscale Hotel Atitlan.
